Google Summer of Code 2016
Xapian was a mentoring organisation for GSoC in 2016. You can also see a summary of our involvement in other years.
Projects
We received many strong applications, and had five slots from Google to allocate. It wasn't easy to decide, but these are the projects we selected:
- Richhiey (GMT+0530) Clustering of Search Results
- Vivek Pal (GMT+0530) Weighting Schemes
- ayshtmr (GMT+0530) Learning to Rank Stabilisation
- Ama (GMT+0530) R bindings for Xapian
- ng420 (GMT+0530) Support for HHVM
