Description
I tried to install core of version 0.7.4 on a Solaris plattform. Unpacking works fine, also ./configure does! But there were some problems with make: Calling the make - command a message like "no arguments passed" was created. Looking at the Makefile showed an empty file. Could not find out what exactly caused the problem. Trying the same with version 0.7.3 - anything works fine!

Sorry! It´s amazing - today it works(0.7.4)! I have nothing changed (just installed version 0.7.3). But they shouldn´t get in each other´s way?!? Thanks, but - no more problems today.
btw: uname -a returns SunOS sunbox 5.8 Generic_108528-16 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Blade-1000

Odd. Could the disk partition you were building on have become full yesterday? That might have resulted in an empty Makefile being generated I guess...
I can't replicate this on a Solaris box in the sourceforge compile farm. I think your setup must be different in some way, but I can't think how!
Can you attach the config.log file which running configure produces?
It would also be useful to know what this command reports:
uname -a
The sourceforge machine is:
SunOS sparc-solaris1 5.9 Generic_112233-03 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-60
