quartzcompact doesn't create a 'meta' file

Description
When you quertzcompact a database it won't create a meta-file and thus your database cannot be searched. Simply copying it from the source directory fixes this, but it would be worse if you'd forgotten that and already removed the sources.
This is with version 0.7.4, but I recall seeing it earlier (but forgot to report).

Thanks for the extra information - I've just checked the rather trivial fix into CVS.

Hmm, appearantly it did create a meta...
Except that it was: /path/dbdirmeta instead of /path/dbdir/meta
