simpleindex ignores the last line if it has no trailing linefeed

Description
I think I see the bug that James Aylett described on the mailing list ("simple* examples", 2003-07-16, see above URL).
I generated a text file of one line without linefeed. After indexing with "simpleindex db <file" delve still gave me "number of documents = 0".
After appending a linefeed and indexing delve shows me that indexing has worked.
